Waterproof Blue/Green Tarpaulin – 110gsm Reinforced Cover for Industrial Use

Some jobs just need a strong, cheap, waterproof sheet you can throw down, fold up and use again. This 110gsm budget tarpaulin is dark blue on one side and olive green on the other, so you can choose which face shows. Use blue for a bright, practical cover, or green when you want it to sit quietly in the garden. It is made from strong, durable woven polyethylene that is tear resistant and waterproof, suitable for indoor and outdoor use, and it is rotproof and UV protected. Eyelets are fitted every metre in double edged, rope reinforced hems. It comes in 24 cut sizes from 2.4m x 1.8m up to 18m x 12m, including long narrow strips of 6m, 10m and 20m x 2m.

Reversible blue and olive green

Because the two faces are different colours, one sheet does two jobs. Lay it blue side up as a dust sheet or boot liner where you want to see dirt and debris clearly, or olive green side up over garden furniture, wood stores and compost where a bright blue sheet would stand out.

Tough enough for thorns and sharp loads

The 10 x 10 woven construction at 110gsm is tear resistant, which is why it is so useful for collecting garden waste. Thorny prunings, brambles and sharp cuttings that puncture plastic sacks can be piled on the sheet and dragged to the bin or car. It wipes clean afterwards and folds away small.

Eyelets every metre and rope reinforced hems

Eyelets are set every metre around the edge, in double edged hems reinforced with rope, so the sheet can be pegged down, tied over furniture or hung up without the eyelets tearing out.

Where it's used

In the garden: collecting and moving garden waste, covering outdoor furniture and equipment, protecting log stores and compost, and as a children's play sheet that wipes clean. In the car or van: a boot liner or seat protector for muddy dogs, wet kit and dusty loads, and a ground sheet on the drive or garage floor when changing oil or working on an engine. Choosing the right option

Measure the area or item and add enough to reach the ground or your fixing points. All sizes are cut sizes, which is the size of the material before it is made into a tarpaulin, so the finished tarp can be up to 30cm shorter. Allow for that when you choose. For a car boot, play sheet or garden waste sheet, 2.4m x 1.8m to 3m x 3m is usually right. For a patio set, a room's floor or a small trailer, choose 4m x 3m to 6m x 4m. The 6m, 10m and 20m x 2m strips cover fences, trailers, walkways and long log stores. The larger sizes, up to 18m x 12m, cover stacks, roofs and work areas. Installation, use and care

Outdoors, fix the sheet with bungee cords, ball bungees, rope or pegs through the eyelets, using all of them so the load is spread evenly. We do not recommend rigid fixings such as cable ties or metal hooks, which strain individual eyelets. Indoors, lay it flat and weigh the edges if needed. Wipe it clean or rinse it off, and let it dry before folding it away.
