140gsm Pallet Cover – Green Fitted Box Cover for UK, Euro & Oversized Pallets

A flat tarpaulin thrown over a pallet leaves loose corners that catch the wind and let rain run in underneath. A fitted pallet cover avoids that. This is a five-sided, box-shaped cover in green 140gsm woven polyethylene, made to drop straight over a loaded pallet and reach down to the base. It covers stock stored outside or waiting in a yard, and keeps dust, bird droppings and weather off goods in open warehouses and loading bays. It is made for UK pallets (1200mm x 1000mm) and Euro pallets (1200mm x 800mm), in four heights, plus an oversized version for 2400mm-long loads.

Why it works

A fitted box shape, not a flat sheet

Because the cover is fabricated as a box with a top and four sides, it sits squarely over the load, with no folding or tucking. The sides hang down to the pallet, so the whole load is enclosed and nothing is left exposed at the corners. It takes seconds to put on and take off, which matters when stock is moved in and out several times a day.

Sized to standard pallets

Each cover is made to the footprint of a standard pallet. The width and length are fabricated with a 20mm tolerance, for example 820mm x 1220mm on a Euro cover, so it slips over a load that sits flush with the pallet edge. Choose the height to match your stack, from 500mm for low loads up to 2000mm for tall stacks.

Eyelets for securing

Eyelets are set along the bottom hem. Hook bungee cords through them and under the pallet deck to stop the cover lifting in the wind when it is stored outside.

Choosing the right option

First choose the footprint to match your pallet. UK pallets measure 1200mm x 1000mm and Euro pallets 1200mm x 800mm. The oversized cover fits a 1200mm x 2400mm load, such as two UK pallets side by side or long stock like timber and pipe. Then measure the height of the loaded pallet, from the top of the pallet deck to the top of the load, and choose the next height up. A cover slightly taller than the load simply sits lower on the pallet, while one that is too short leaves the bottom of the stack exposed. Low loads of bagged goods usually suit 500mm or 1000mm, standard mixed stock 1500mm, and tall stacks 2000mm. The oversized cover comes in 1000mm and 1500mm heights only.

Installation, use and care

Lift the cover over the load and let the sides drop evenly to the pallet. Outdoors, secure it with bungee cords or ball bungees through the bottom eyelets and under the pallet deck. We recommend bungees rather than rigid fixings such as cable ties or metal hooks, which put too much strain on single eyelets, and using all the available eyelets so the load is spread evenly. Avoid dragging the cover over sharp corners or banding. To store, brush it off, let it dry and fold it flat.

FAQ

Will a UK pallet cover fit a Euro pallet?
It will fit over it, but it will be loose on the 800mm side. For a neat fit that does not catch the wind, choose the Euro cover for Euro pallets and the UK cover for UK pallets.

Which height do I need?
Measure from the pallet deck to the top of the load and choose the next height up. For example, a 1200mm-tall stack needs the 1500mm cover.

Can I use it outside?
Yes. Secure it with bungee cords through the bottom eyelets and under the pallet so the wind cannot lift it.

Does it cover the bottom of the pallet?
No. It is a five-sided cover with a top and four sides and an open base, so it drops over the load from above.
