110gsm Camouflage Tarpaulin – Reversible Camo & Green Waterproof Tarp with Eyelets

When a cover needs to disappear into the landscape, a camouflage tarpaulin does what a blue or green sheet can't. This 110gsm camouflage tarpaulin carries a standard woodland disruptive pattern on one side and plain green on the other, so it is reversible. It is a much lighter, easier alternative to heavy camouflage netting, yet still strong. It is used by paintball and airsoft venues, activity centres, scouts and cadets, anglers and bushcraft campers, and at home for garden rubbish, log piles and furniture. It is waterproof, tear resistant, rotproof and UV protected, with eyelets every metre, reinforced corners and double edged, rope reinforced hems. Why it works

Lighter than camo netting, but waterproof

Camouflage netting is heavy and lets the rain through. This tarpaulin is a woven polyethylene sheet laminated on both faces, at 110gsm with a 10 x 10 weave per square inch, so it is light enough to carry and rig quickly but gives a fully waterproof cover. The weave makes it tear resistant, which matters when it is dragged over branches, pallets or brambles.

Camo one side, green the other

Use the camouflage face where you want the cover to blend into woodland, hedges and undergrowth, or turn it over to the plain green side for a quieter look in the garden. The pattern is a standard disruptive camouflage in greens, browns and black.

Reinforced for rigging

Eyelets are fitted every metre in double edged hems reinforced with plastic rope, and the corners carry reinforcing patches where a rigged tarp takes the most strain. That makes it easy to pull tight as a shelter, hide or base cover without the corners tearing out.

Where it's used

Paintball and airsoft venues use it to cover bases, bunkers and trenches. Activity centres, scout groups and cadets rig it as group shelters and dens. Anglers use it as a bivvy cover and bushcraft campers as a shelter where a camo tent would be too much. Shooting estates and wildlife watchers use it for hides and to cover feed and equipment. Choosing the right option

Measure what you want to cover or the area of the shelter, and add enough to reach the ground or your tie-off points. All sizes are cut sizes, which is the size of the material before it is made into a tarpaulin, so the finished tarp can be up to 30cm shorter. Allow for that when you choose. For a bivvy cover, hide or log pile, 1.8m x 1.2m to 3m x 2.4m is usually enough. For a group shelter, bunker cover or furniture set, choose 3.5m x 2.7m to 6m x 4.5m. The long 6m x 2m strip suits fences, screens and trenches, and the largest sizes, up to 2.4m x 1.8m – Pack of 20, cover whole bases and camp areas. Venues, cadet units and groups that need several identical sheets can take the 2.4m x 1.8m trade pack of 20.

Installation, use and care

Rig the tarpaulin with cord, bungees or pegs through the eyelets, using all of them so the load is spread evenly. Avoid rigid fixings such as cable ties or metal hooks, which strain individual eyelets. Tension shelters so rain runs off and the sheet does not flap. Keep it off sharp edges, shake it clean and let it dry before folding it away.
